About Frontline Wildfire Defense
At Frontline Wildfire Defense, our mission is to protect homes, families, and communities from wildfire disasters. With multiple layers of redundancy, our system hydrates homes and surrounding areas to prevent ignition from flying embers—the #1 cause of structure loss during wildfires.
We are a fast-growing team that has already achieved significant milestones in protecting homes across Northern and Southern California. • Oversee and directly contribute to budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning to optimize resources across construction, installation, and field operations.
  • Identify and implement cost-control measures by working directly with department leaders to track and manage spending, including labor, materials, and project-based costs.
  • Support implementation of new software tools, ie; ERP, expense/AP management, SaaS Billing.
Capital Markets Management
  • Prepare financial models, pitch materials, and due diligence documents for debt or equity initiatives.
  • Support investor meetings with detailed analysis and hands-on preparation of financial data.
  • Build relationships with investors, financial institutions, and government agencies to identify funding opportunities.
Operational Finance Management
  • Establish and maintain a robust financial infrastructure with an emphasis on accurate reporting and real-time visibility, supporting complex construction and field operations.

  • Proactively identify and mitigate financial risks while directly monitoring internal controls and operational processes.
Board & Investor Relations
  • Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and dashboards that are both strategic and data-driven.
  • Provide transparent and detailed analysis to the Board of Directors and investors, balancing big-picture insights with execution-level detail.
Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and directly collaborate with the Controller and finance team on both high-level strategy and day-to-day tasks.
  • Be an active player-coach—willing to dive in and model best practices in financial management.
  • Support training and professional development to build a high-performing, detail-oriented finance team.
FP&A and Strategic Planning
  • Drive hands-on financial analysis, scenario modeling, and valuation modeling
  • Ensure that operational financial processes are audit-ready and scalable to support liquidity events or M&A activity.
  • Model and prepare for potential exit opportunities (acquisition, IPO, etc.).
