Sales Development Representative (SDR)

About Frontline Wildfire Defense

At Frontline Wildfire Defense, our mission is to protect homes, families, and communities from wildfire disasters. Our innovative wildfire defense system allows homeowners to track wildfires, receive critical alerts, and actively safeguard their properties using a remotely operated fire protection system. With multiple layers of redundancy, our system hydrates homes and surrounding areas to prevent ignition from flying embers—the #1 cause of structure loss during wildfires.
We are a fast-growing team that has already achieved significant milestones in protecting homes across Northern and Southern California. Our team includes experienced engineers, product designers, and industry experts, and we are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help drive our efforts.

About This Opportunity

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a critical role in building the sales pipeline for Frontline Wildfire Defense. This role is responsible for engaging prospective customers, educating them about our system, qualifying opportunities, and scheduling appointments for the field sales team. The SDR will be the first point of contact for many customers and will represent our mission of protecting homes and communities with professionalism, energy, and empathy.

  • Qualify leads using defined criteria and schedule appointments with the field sales team for further consultation.
  • Manage and nurture a pipeline of active, dormant, and cold leads through consistent outreach and personalized communication.
  • Meet follow-up service level agreements (SLAs) for new lead engagement to ensure no opportunities are missed.
  • Partner closely with field sales representatives to ensure a smooth and professional customer handoff.
  • Provide feedback to the sales leadership and field team regarding lead quality, customer trends, and process improvements.
  • Accurately track activities, document lead status, and update customer information in Zoho CRM.
  • Achieve or exceed key performance metrics, including number of consultations, appointments set, lead conversion rates, and response times.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of wildfire risk mitigation, home protection systems, and Frontline’s product offerings to better serve customers.

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales development, inside sales, or a customer-facing role (preferably in technology, home services, or related industries).
  • Strong communication skills across phone, email, and text; able to build trust and credibility quickly.
  • Organized and disciplined with the ability to manage multiple leads, tasks, and follow-ups simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working with sales tools and CRMs (Zoho experience preferred).
  • Resilient, goal-oriented, and motivated by hitting and exceeding performance targets.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment and contribute to process improvements.
