The Exterior Fire Sprinkler Designer will be responsible for creating initial zone counts and design proposals for exterior fire sprinkler systems, using REVU Bluebeam.

These preliminary design proposals will serve as visual aids for the sales team's presentations to clients.

This role involves collaborating with the sales team, utilizing design software, interpreting site plans, and ensuring accurate and visually appealing proposals.

● Create initial zone counts and design proposals for exterior fire sprinkler systems using REVU BlueBeam, a PDF editor drafting program, for our sales team.

● Collaborate with the sales team to understand project requirements and objectives.

● Adhere to project timelines and respond to requests in a timely manner

● Interpret 2-dimensional site plans to develop accurate and effective design proposals.

● Utilize Google Earth Pro, Apple Maps and site photographs to identify required zone counts for each proposal.

● Communicate effectively with the sales team to gather necessary information and provide design support.

● Maintain organized records of zone counts, designs, and proposals.

● Collaborate on sales proposal designs to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

● Possess a strong understanding of construction design, mathematics, and drafting principles.

● Demonstrate proficiency in spatial reasoning and hydraulics to create effective fire

sprinkler system designs.

● Ensure a reliable and consistent internet connection with a minimum download speed of 10 Mbps (preferably 20+ Mbps) to maintain productivity.

● Utilize an Apple device such as iPad, laptop, or iPhone for access to Apple Maps, which is a vital asset for the job.

● Exhibit knowledge of architectural terms, language, and definitions to accurately

describe design concepts (e.g., dormers, ridge, soffit, fascia).

● Foster effective communication within the team environment, ensuring seamless collaboration.

● Experience working with 2-dimensional site plans.

● Familiarity with Google Earth Pro and Apple Maps for site analysis.

● Strong drafting skills using 2-dimensional drafting programs.

● Understanding of construction design, mathematics, and hydraulics (preferred).

● Excellent communication skills within a team environment.

● Proficiency in Google Drive for document management.

● Spatial reasoning skills for accurate system designs.
