About Frontline Wildfire Defense
Our mission is to protect homes, families and communities from wildfire disasters.
Frontline enables customers to track wildfires, receive important alerts, and safely navigate a wildfire, while protecting a customer’s home with the remotely operated Frontline Wildfire Defense System. With multiple levels of redundancy, our home defense system hydrates the materials of a home and its surrounding area to prevent ignition from flying embers - the #1 cause of structure loss during wildfire.
We have a unique opportunity available for a Senior Project Manager to support our day-to-day operations, which largely centers around the direct installation of Frontline systems. This will include, but necessarily be limited to, Ensuring that all installation projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget, and most importantly, to the satisfaction of the customer.
We are a small team in the early stages of growth, and yet we have already achieved significant milestones in protecting homes and earning revenue through successfully installing systems throughout Northern and Southern California. We have an experienced team of engineers, product designers, and investors and we are growing rapidly.
About This Opportunity

In this role, you will:

  • Manage installations to design specs, within budget and timeline targets.
  • Manage all stakeholders (homeowners, crew, subs, builders, architect, etc) to manage expectations and to provide a great customer experience.
  • Understand the mechanical, hardware and, to a sufficient degree, software engineering of the Frontline System and contribute to ongoing product improvement and innovation.
  • Understand residential construction and local building requirements. Work with inspectors in building and fire departments, as needed.
  • Encourage, engage and lead the install team, driving success and
  • Foster a spirit of teamwork among the install team members, bridging communication gaps and ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment
  • Evaluate and provide guidance and feedback to team members to improve their expertise and the project's performance
  • Manage material procurement and tracking. Create or improve processes for supply chain, inventory, job costing and overall design and installation of system.
  • Assist with recruiting, training and supervising foremen and crew members.
  • Recruit, train and supervise subcontractors and 3rd party install partners.
  • Recruit, train and manage project operations team members such as site auditors, design engineers and future project managers. .
  • Provide operations and maintenance support to existing customers. Create a technical support function that can oversee Frontline Controller configuration, installation and maintenance.
  • Support sales and business development through participating in the sales cycle, building relationships with builders, architects and developers, and recruiting channel partners that bring new sales opportunities.
  • Create close partnership and process between sales and operations, from initial site visit, design and scoping; to scheduling and preparation with our subs and customer’s contractors; to installation of system and customer onboarding.
  • Evaluate performance for the install team’s Foreman and Superintendents, to identify trends, recommend improvements and submit quarterly bonus forms
  • Backflow testing
  • Drafting T&M agreements
  • Ensure sales tax exemptions are on file when placing orders with CC
  • Vehicle maintenance management
  • Other duties assigned


Experience / Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills and empathy in working with customers, accounts, and teammates
  • Willing to work remotely, travel to customers throughout California and work nights and weekends as needed
  • Great communicator and teacher - both in terms of creating the story and presentation and delivering it to the Install Team, customers and partners
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar, Drive) Slack
  • Must possess a vehicle and valid driver’s license to drive to and from job site locations if support is needed
  • Must have home internet broadband access

  • Salary based on experience + Quarterly Bonus opportunities tied to performance
